Best Practices

File Format

Use STEP (.step or .stp) files for the most accurate geometry representation and pricing calculations.

Model Preparation

Ensure your model is properly scaled and positioned. Remove any unnecessary internal geometry that won't be visible in the final part.

Design for Manufacturing

Review our DFM guidelines before uploading to ensure your design is optimized for die casting and avoid common issues.

Build Volume Limits

Parts must fit within our build volume constraints:

Maximum dimensions: 150mm × 150mm × 150mm
